2 Vintage Gaucho Knives, Daggers, Punales, Fancy Designs, Argentina

Description

The smaller of the two has intricate, extruded floral designs all over the handle and sheathe. The blade is marked: "Elmo" and "Inox". Inox is French
for stainless steel. There are a few scratches and marks on the blade.
The larger knife has an extruded floral design on the handle but the sheathe has extruded pictures of gauchos and cattle. This blade is also marked
Inox with a knotted horn above. It has very detailed etches of gaucha and cattle on both sides. This blade has only a few marks, probably from drawing
and sheathing the knife.
Both knives fit tightly into their sheathes. The blades are strong with no wobble. I believe the handles and sheathes are brass as they are not magnetic. Both are beautiful pieces
